Unfortunately I do not know of writings along the lines of Wiener's work. However, I am very appreciative of your posts on these older writings, I learn a whole deal from every one! Thank you for that.
Out of curiosity, what drove you to explore older works initially?
Thanks, that’s nice to hear! I’ve been interested in integrating knowledge from different fields from a long time; for example I wrote an undergraduate thesis on how humans control juggling before moving into building more engineered systems. Since I’ve been primarily focused on building robots for a while, I try to keep some balance by reading (at least at a surface level) on computing, biology, and related fields. It’s just been coincidentally books from ~1950 recently 😂
